Western Soul, Artisan Heart

Inspired by the soul of the American West, my work reflects the wild beauty of Colorado—its bison, wildlife, cowboys, and native heritage.

I grew up in Julesburg, in the far corner of Colorado where the Pony Express once ran and the Union Pacific laid its tracks—a place once known as the “Wickedest Town of the West.” That history continues to shape my work. Through oil on canvas, I bring life to the old plains, drawing from stories of the past and reinterpreting them through my own contemporary western style.

My artistic journey began in Maracaibo, Venezuela, where I studied at the Julio Arraga Art School, exploring graphite, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Later, while living in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, I connected with local artists and found inspiration in markets, museums, and cultural traditions.

My work is defined by a rustic palette, layered textures, and deliberate brushwork that create depth and movement. Each piece carries its own personality and story—inviting viewers to slow down, look closer, and feel a connection to the spirit of the West.
